NOSCA was formed in 1987 by a group of evening class students studying navigation. It seeks to foster and promote the sport of offshore cruising, and to provide opportunities for social meetings, recreation and training.
Whatever your interest in sailing, from novice to yacht master, from boat owner to competent crew you will receive a warm welcome.
Membership is available to anyone over 18 – either as an individual or for joint membership.
 We meet on the first Tuesday of the month in or around Northampton for a social event. These include talks either from visiting speakers or club members, quizzes, photographic competitions, hands-on demonstrations of equipment, treasure-hunts, BBQs and dinners.

NOSCA, in its present form, will close on 30th November 2026. But we will still organise sailing and social activities via WhatsApp groups. This website will close on 2nd September 2026.
